Oberlin of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Hudson, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde G. Oberlin and Doris Oberlin (Burger); his daughter Heather; and his siblings, Mary Kay Blissett, Shirley Huffman and Edward Oberlin.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Oberlin of Fort Wayne; his son Jeffrey G.; his daughter-in-law Cindy W. H. Oberlin of Friendswood, Texas.; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Jammie Hughes of Haviland, Ohio.; his son Christopher G.; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Oberlin of Havertown, Pennsylvania.; his grandchildren, Heidi (Zach Hayden), Krystal (Cody Jahnigen), Tayla (Dylan Massey), Dustin (Tiffany Taylor) and Tristan Ellis (Stone Oberlin); his brothers, Richard Oberlin of Port Huron, Michigan. and Lynn; his sister-in-law Shirley Oberlin of West Minster, Colorado.; his sister Beth; and his brother-in-law Don Sobnosky of Wadsworth, Ohio.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
