He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith; his children, Vanessa Pierce (Nathan), Julia Blankenship (Russ Covey) and Luke Jamison (Jenna); his grandchildren, Ava Pierce, Dexter Pierce, Owen Blankenship and Paige Jamison; and his sister Jamie Boyer.
