She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Masterson and Vergie Masterson; her daughter Jessica Blackshear; and her sisters, Mary Thompson, Ada Masterson, Bessie Dodds and Lorine Masterson.

She is survived by: her son David Masterson; and her siblings, Amanda Farris, Thomas Masterson (Lorretta) and Nathaniel Masterson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
