We bid farewell to Deanna K Freeland (Fort Wayne, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Deanna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Walters and Helen Walters; her husband Richard Joseph Freeland; her daughters, Kimberly Cook and Terri Derheimer; and her brothers, Jerry Walters and Dick Brackett.
She is survived by: her son Todd Freeland (Angie); her sisters, Patty Davidson (Jerry), Phyllis Spratt (Jim) and Judy Smith (Ron); her grandchildren, Lindsay Falk (Darin), Tiffany Rego (Mike), Tyler Freeland (Felicia), Dillon Freeland, Austin Freeland (Ali) and Deanna Freeland-Derheimer; and her great grandchildren, Connor Falk, Brody Rego, Kayla Rego, Julian Freeland and Beckett Freeland.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel Church (2505 W Hamilton Rd S, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the The Chapel (2205 W Hamilton Rd S, Fort Wayne, IN 46814).
Preferred memorials may be made to Turnstone Center.
