With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Sorlie (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Sorlie to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Sorlie and Myra Sorlie (Pollock); his wife Lana Sorlie; his children, Caleb Sorlie (Honesty) and Kyle Sorlie (Trisha); his grandchildren, Onyx, Caden, Lily, Kendall, Henley, Oakley, Henrick and Bradley; his sister Debra Curtis (Jeffrey); his niece Katie Bibeau; and his nephew Jason Martin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Wounded Warrior Project or Parkview Hospice.
