He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Johnston and Beverly Johnston (Burtch); and his son Pete Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnston; his son Brad Johnston (Denise) of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Ethan, Abby and Eric Johnston; his siblings, John Johnston (Stella) of Indianapolis and Joan Ott of Fort Wayne; and his pet Finn. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
