It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Aker (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Lee Aker to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Aker and Alice Moser; his former wife Sharon Aker; and his sister Bonnie Durnell. He is survived by: his wife Donna Aker; his sons, David Aker (Debbie) and Don Aker (Joanne); his stepdaughters, Nicole Allred (Greg) and Jennifer Murphy (Brian); his grandchildren, Noelani McIntosh (Drew), Joshua Aker (Mandi), Daniel Aker, Thomas Aker and Chad Buck (Leanna); and his brother Mike Aker (Carolyn). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
