He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Michele Anderson (Tom), Andy Clymer (Julie) and Jay Clymer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Matthew Anderson (Sydney), Jonathan Anderson (Brittany), Nicholas Anderson, Rebecca Griffin (Zach), Brandon Clymer, Jordyn Clymer, Candace Clymer, Katelyn Schwartz (Ben) and Tara Wieland; his great grandchildren, Evelynne, Emmett Anderson, Brooklynn, Hannah Anderson, Lincoln Griffin, Krue Walden and Ford Schwartz; his siblings, Thomas Clymer (Sue Ann), Kenneth Clymer (Anne), Sue Ellen Berry (Carl) and Carol Simon (Scott); and his foster son Patrich Hallenbeck.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the The Branch (7227 Bittersweet Moors Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46814). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
