He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sharp Sr. and Anna Ruth Redding. He is survived by: his children, Raven Bohlender (Brian) of Fort Wayne, IN and Patrick Dent of Woodland, CA; his siblings, William Sharp (Liz) of Fort Wayne and Judy; his niece Nancy Snyder; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Bohlender and Aiden Fabian. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
