He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Schott and Wilhemina Emerich; his wife Mary E. Reynolds; and his siblings, Ruth Edwards, Leah Smith, Irene Herron, Anna Schlechte, Glenn, Ralph, Clarence, Ray, Paul and Alfred Schott.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Schott of Fort Wayne, Ind., Susan Schott of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Marlene Berning of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and his grandchildren, Christy Buuck (Jeff), Benjamin Berning (Ebru) and Kelsey Saxton (Isaac). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
