Janet Engle wrote a sympathy message

“Pastor Gapter and Family, As a fellow follower of Jesus Christ from a sister congregation in Warrenton, VA., I have been praying for Cindy throughout her diagnosis of cancer. Healing comes in God's time and plan and sometimes it is miraculously, medically and eternally. It seems that God's plan was eternal healing for one of His good and faithful servants. May God's peace and comfort be with you during this time remembering His promises. In Christ, Janet (Trinity Lutheran Church)”
