It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cordelia D. Davis (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Hope; her brother Robert "Skip" Lee Davis; and also Reola Strozier. She is survived by: her daughter Kalah Davis-Brown of New Haven, IN; her brothers, Andre Hope (Gwendolyn), Franklin Alexander and Derrick Pankins; and her aunts and uncles, Roger Davis, George King (Angie), Brenda Chaney (Ewern), Barbara Holmes and Leslie Davis.

“I have not met, or spoke with any of you....other than Jackie. None the less my heart goes out to you all. My name is Todd. Cordelia & I met on December 21, 2020 at Meijers while she was working. I saw her as an amazing person through her interactions with the customers. She saw me observing me, I was brimming ng with joy...& said "I want to hug you!". She said, "Well go ahead." So we hugged in front of everyone, exchanged phone numbers. Everyone witnessed an instant connection.”
