He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Thomas Sr. and Theresa Hetrick; his wife Roberta G. Hetrick; and his son Thomas A. Hetrick. He is survived by: his children, Jim Hetrick (Deb) of Fort Wayne, Sandy Hull of Fort Wayne and Linda Hetrick of Fort Wayne; and his daughter-in-law Judy Hetrick. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Clayton's honor may be directed to St. Jude School and Building Fund.
