We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 51, Charles Edward Crews of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles Edward is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles Edward's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Diane Crews; his aunts, Jackie and Teresa; and his cousin Joe Crews. He is survived by: his father Charles Fincher; his grandson Charles "Chill" Wallace Jr.; his stepsons, Ryan and Brian Wallace; his fiancé Lakitsha Holley-Crews; and his brother Lloyd Crews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Gomez Temple AME Church (2551 S Anthony Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46803).
