She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Stump and Bessie Stump (Brown); her husband Roland Sumney; and her siblings, James William Stump, Marilyn Stump and Barbara Nyikos (Michael).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Sumney (Tracy) of Williamstown, KY, Lora Wilkinson (Ken) of Yakima, WA, Todd Sumney (Kari) of Scottsdale, AZ, Carrie Lynn Sumney of Whiteland, IN and Carla Marie Sumney of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Alexis), Emily, Caleb Sumney, Trent, Breanna (Ryan), Sean Wilkinson, Brandon and Jacob Sumney; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Sumney (Dave), Gunten, Lori Meyers, Amanda Meyers Bauman (Ben) and Emily Meyers Martin (Kyle); and her son Grant.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Carol Sumney Annual Nursing Scholarship at Taylor University.
