It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elmira Gerken (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Valentine and Mildred Beamer; her former husband Waldo H. Gerken; and her husband Walter Gerken. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda S. Parker and Janet Marie Kosteck (Brian); and her stepchildren, Ralph Gerken (Karen) of Fort Wayne, IN and Chris Robin (Daniel) of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Altar Guild.
