She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lester and Elizabeth Moreine Brewer; her husband Richard Dean Leach; and her brother William Edward Brewer. She is survived by: her children, Michael D. Leach (Karla) of Warsaw, IN, Debra Cooke (David) of Huntertown, IN and Lora Layman (John) of Huntington, IN; her grandchildren, Cody Cooke (Katie), Kaitlin Eggleton (Nathan), David Layman (Ryley), Shannon Cooke, Hanna Cardoso (Jackson), Mary Zimmer (Kobe), Nathan Leach and Izak Leach; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Eggleton and Alaina Cardoso.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home (8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
