It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie B. Smith of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Addison "A. C." Smith; her son James K. Smith; her parents, Chester Burns and Maxie Burns (Barger); and her siblings, James A., Earl Burns, Margaret Piercy, Geneva Smith, Bobbie Swango and Jessie Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey S. Smith (Lisa Brown) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her nephews, James F. Burns (Shan), EJ Taylor (Barbara) and Tom Swango (Lynn); and her niece Linda Wates. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters, other relatives and friends.
