She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley G. Gongaware and Ruth N. Gongaware; her husband David T. Dewart; and her brother Stanley F. Gongaware. She is survived by: her sons, Chad Dewart and Bryan Dewart (April Strahm); her stepson Matthew Dewart (Cyrinthia); and her sister Vicki Goodrich (Mike). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls (8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
