She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Woods and Ilivia Woods; her husband George Benson; her children, Bobby and Barbara Benson; and her siblings, Terry Woods, Lucius Hagler, Tommie Lee Woods and Priscilla Griggs.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Earl Woods (Wanda Lesia), Sharon and Yolanda Benson; and her siblings, Linda Lewis, Jimmy Lee Wilbert and Hugh Woods. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five and ½ great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
