She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen T. Jones and Gladys P. Jones (Vanness); her husband Rudolph Florek; her son James Florek; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Jones, Frieda Wages and Juanita Weaver.

She is survived by: her children, Max Florek of LaFontaine, Indiana, Dennis Florek (Teresa Bozell) of LaFontaine, Indiana, Theresa LaShure (Jerry) of LaFontaine and Pamela Clindaniel (Mark); and her grandchildren, Alena Rogers, Brandon LaShure, Andrew Florek, Jocelynn Clindaniel, Marcus Clindaniel, Dylan Florek and Devon Clindaniel. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association in care of McDonald Funeral Home.
