She was predeceased by: her parents, Broda Starner and Francis P. Starner; her former husband Warren "Andy" Gorman; her husband Harold G. Smith; and her brother Glenn Straner.

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia A. Houser of Fort Wayne, IN; her stepchildren, Ted K. Smith (Kim) of Utah and Tompsie Smith of Iowa; and her granddaughters, Julie Whicker (Eric) of Fort Wayne, IN and Angela Raatz (Brian). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Park Place Senior Living.
