She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl "Jim" and Marie George (Meiring); her husband Don Harris; and her siblings, Evelyn Mann, Butch George and Mike George.

She is survived by: her children, Lynne Giordano (John) of Fairfax, VA, George Harris (Kim) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Teresa Barjenbruch (Kevin) of Draper, UT; her grandchildren, Brian Giordano of Amberg, Germany, Amy Giordano of Sterling, VA, Cody Harris of Ft. Wayne, IN, Logan Harris (Olivia Barker) of Iowa City, IA, Matthew Barjenbruch of Draper, UT and Connor Barjenbruch of Holladay, UT; and her siblings, John George, Pat Doss (Ray), Bill George, Dale George (Diane) and Paul George (Rose). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Therese Catholic Church Funeral Dinner fund or to St. Therese as an offering for a Mass in memory of Amelia Harris.
