He was predeceased by: his wife Hannah; his siblings, Robert and Helen; and his son-in-law David Warshauer. He is survived by: his children, Marie Warshauer of Evanston, IL and Steven Zacher (Judy) of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Michael Warshauer, Andrew Warshauer (Mia Salamone), Adam Zacher, Daniel Warshauer, Joshua Zacher and Theo Zacher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in Al's memory to The Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Congregation Achduth Vesholom, Vincent Village, Scan or a charity of your choice.
