He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Gant, and Adolphus A. Gant, Sr.; his wife Carolyn T. Price-Gant; and his brother Marvin Gant. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Gant-Alexander (Shawn) of Montgomery, IL, Tanya Gant-Heard (Dereick) of Fairburn, GA and Valencia Gant-Coleman (Adrian) of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Carmela Alexander, Jillian Heard, Justin Alexander and Zoey Coleman; and his brother Kenneth Gant (Loida).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (1105 Calhoun St, Fort Wayne, IN 46802). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
