He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Maikranz and Lucy Opal Maikranz (Hyslop); his wife Bernice Maikranz (Richie); his son Kenneth Maikranz; and his siblings, Dale Maikranz, Von Maikranz, Donald Maikranz and Elmo Maikranz.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Maikranz (Joy) of Princeton, IN, Duncan Maikranz (Roberta) of Fort Branch, IN, Bethel Sue Ostrander (Timothy) of Griffin, IN and Anita Graham (Tony) of Fort Branch, IN; his daughter-in-law Sheila Maikranz of Fort Branch, IN; and his siblings, Tom Maikranz (Janice) of Francisco, IN, Nola Maikranz of Fort Branch, IN, Dorothy Georges (Charles) of Mackey, IN and Dan Maikranz (Rita) of Fort Branch, IN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
