Randall Schmits Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2021, at the age of 69, Randall Schmits of Fort Branch, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Schmits and Cleo Schmits (Porter); and his siblings, Judy Hardenbrook and Donald Schmits. He is survived by: his friend Dave McKinney; his wife Janet Schmits of Fort Branch, IN; his son Kent Schmits (Cori) of Princeton, IN; his sisters, Phyllis Hanold (Larry) of Mt. Sterling, IL, Patty Woehler (Jerry) of Haubstadt, IN, Debbie Dixie (John) of Shelbyville, KY, Sherry Owens (Everett) of Indianapolis, IN and Teresa Griffin (James) of Mt. Carmel, IL; and his grandchildren, Libby and Lani Schmits. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance at the visitation and funeral service will be limited. Social distancing and masks will be required.
Donations in his honor can be made to St. Bernard's Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
