She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Richie and Bessie Richie (Shanks); her husband John James Smith; and her siblings, William J. Richie and Bernice Maikranz.
She is survived by: her children, John Smith (Jan), Debbie Garrett (Butch), Sherry Carnahan (Rusty), Tim Smith (Sharon) and Steve Smith (Julie). She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
