It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nolan Simpson (Fort Branch, Indiana), born in Gentryville, Indiana, who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Simpson and Matilda Simpson (Moesner); his wife Lois Mauck; his brother Kenneth; his daughter-in-law Vickie Simpson; his great grandchild Tobias Simpson; his son Jim; his sister Edith Wheat; and his daughter Debbie.
He is survived by: his brother Farm; his children, Brenda Starcher of Springfield, MA, Steve Simpson (Mary) of Severn, MD, Randy Simpson (Linda) of Fort Branch and Mark Simpson of Owensville; his grandchildren, Sean Starcher, Sherri Tarleton, Steven, Ricky, Nathan Simpson, Terry, Greg Broshears, Chris Stanton, Brian Tharp, Brittany and Heaven Simpson; his siblings, June Mauck of Hobart, IN, Jeanne Phillips of Belleville, MI, Pat Knapp (Steve) of Evansville, Cledith Simpson (Judy) of Marietta and Jerry Simpson (Jackie) of Haubstadt; his aunt Dorothy Taylor of Boonville; and his friend Leo Ellsworth. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and one very special great granddaughter.
