He was predeceased by: his father Ermal "Jewett" Overton; his wife Sharon Sweppy (Wilhite); and his son Josh Sweppy. He is survived by: his daughter Tammra Golday (Vaughn) of Fort Branch; his grandchildren, Derek Smitha (Jennifer) of Fort Branch, Catrina Campbell (Zack) of Fort Branch and Hannah Baumgart (Austin) of Haubstadt; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle Smitha, Khale Campbell, Kholby Campbell, Liam Campbell, Cambrianne Campbell, Teagan Gunn, Wyatt Gunn and Laila Allen; his brother Gary Overton (Marcia) of Fort Branch; his nieces, Lacy Overton and Lanae Hynema; and his sister-in-law Peggy Beck (Charlie) of Oakland City.
