He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Hagedorn and Clara Rose Hagedorn (Peter); his son Dean Eric Hagedorn; and his siblings, Irene Gelarden, Dorothy Beckman and Ed Hagedorn.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Mae Hagedorn of Fort Branch, IN; his children, Paula Kohl (Dan) of Fort Branch, IN, Gene Hagedorn (Julie) of Darmstadt, IN, Kevin Hagedorn (Gigi) of Corpus Christi, TX, Laura Ziliak (Jeff) of Haubstadt, IN and Tricia Beeler (Steve) of Lafayette, IN; his siblings, Louise Mattingly of Zionsville, IN and Joe Hagedorn (Judy) of Tell City, IN; his grandchildren, Emily Leonard, Evan Kohl (Taylor), Ella Kohl, Tyler Hagedorn, Hadley Hagedorn, Wyatt Hagedorn, Lahla Hagedorn, Reese Hagedorn, Mitchell Ziliak, Grant Ziliak, Austin Ziliak, Eli Ziliak, Zachary Beeler, Nathan Beeler and Matthew Beeler; and his great grandchildren, Aislyn, Atticus Leonard and Leighton Kohl.
