It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Maikranz of Fort Branch, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Freudenberg and Mary Freudenberg (Wilkins); her husband Robert Maikranz; and her siblings, Robert Freudenberg and Sue DeShields.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Shomate (Carl) of Oakland City, IN and Marcia Hall (Garry) of Fort Branch, IN; her siblings, Charles Freudenberg (Linda) of Haubstadt, IN, Roy Freudenberg (Becky) of Fort Branch, IN and Anna Louise Kempf of Fort Branch, IN; her grandsons, Dustin Hall (Susan) and Donovan Hall (Mariah); and her great grandchildren, Adam and Amelia Hall.
