He was predeceased by: his brothers, Larry and Donald; and his in-laws, Judy Priar, Brenda Priar, Janice, Don Frey, Larry and Pat Gatton.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Priar (Gatton); his children, Michael (Michelle Priar), Tracey (Matthew Wright) and Pete (Jan Priar); his grandchildren, Madelyn Priar (Gavin Brown), Mitchell, Gabi Priar, Meredith Priar, Adam Wright, Caroline Wright, Valerie Priar (Sam Larracuenta) and Todd Priar; his nieces, Alicia Lachowecki and Karen Elgin; his siblings, Jerry Priar, Sandra, Mike Turner and Pat Priar; his in-laws, Dennis and Charlotte Gatton; and his parents, Christine Priar (Ralph) and Glover Priar Sr.. He is also survived by father for after their parents.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the STS Peter and Paul Catholic Church (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639). A committal service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery (211 N Vine St, Haubstadt, IN 47639).

Memorial contributions can be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Haubstadt or to Gibson Southern Scholarships.
