He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelmon Johnson and Mary Colleen Strickland (Garrett); and his sister Bernice Farrar. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Colbert (Dan) of Haubstadt, IN and Brian Johnson of Lafayette, IN; his grandchildren, Cale and Cye Colbert of Haubstadt, IN; his sister Camilla Johnson of Owensville, IN; and his nephews, Jeff and Tim Farrar.

Memorial contributions can be made to Maumee Cemetery.
