He was predeceased by: his father Charles Sims, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Larry Short. He is survived by: his mother Edna Sims (Smallwood) of Evansville, IN; his children, Brian Sims (Wendy) of Kansas City, MO and Dana Query (Mike) of Avon, IN; and his siblings, Steven Sims (Rebecca) of Cynthiana, IN, David Sims of Evansville, IN and Kathy Short of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
