He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Shafer and Frances Ivy Shafer (Truckee); and his wife Naomi. He is survived by: his children, Donna Brown of Princeton, IN, Cynthia Miller (David) of Francisco, IN and Marshal Shafer of Princeton, IN; and his pets, Nosy and Buckshot. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters.
