He was predeceased by: his former wives, Eloise Heldt and Gyneth Heldt; his children, Aaron Blaine and Brea Loyd; and his siblings, Willis Heldt, Marvin Heldt, Loren Heldt, Larry Heldt and Emma Loehr.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Blaine (Mike) of Fort Branch, IN, Jerry Keith Heldt (Shannon) of Petersburg, IN, Mark Heldt (Debbie) of Haubstadt, IN, Glen Heldt (Paula) of Fort Branch and Pastor Tammy Scheller (Doug) of Fort Branch, IN; his stepchildren, Barbara Seitz (Steve) of Jasper, IN and Larry Byers (Gretchen) of Evansville, IN.; and his sisters, Betty Rice of Terre Haute, IN, Ruth Rehlander of Tucson, AZ, Jane Williams of Fort Branch, IN, Dale Heldt of Francisco, IN and Lonnie Heldt of Fort Branch, IN..
