He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Arthur and Alice Arthur; his siblings, Jean Petrauskas and David Arthur; and his grandson Shad Hickey.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Garvin Arthur; and his children, Greg Arthur (Elese), Deborah Henning (Jim), Duana Drew (Fred) and Darcy Arthur. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
