She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Smith and Geneva Smith; her husband John Schaefer; her grandson Cory E. Allen; and her children, Gregg Allen and Sherri L. Griggs.

She is survived by: her grandson Allen T. Bilyeu (Mischelle); her great grandchild Abby; her grandchildren, Nick Allen, Matt Schaefer, Steve Neville, Allie Schaefer and Laura Fishburn; and her stepchildren, Dr. John F. Schaefer, Jr. and Susan Neville. She is also survived by four great-great-grandsons, two great-great-granddaughters.
