She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin L. Jennings and Rachel Creech Jennings; her children, Jeannette Wilson, Jerry Roddy and Sherry Witte of Richmond; her grandchildren, Brian Wilson, Mark Wilson (Angie), Tom Roddy (Missy), Tony Roddy (Brittany), Angela Voiles, Matthew Witte and Karen King; her husband James; and her grandson Jason Witte. She was also cherished by fourteen great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
