It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Helen Rubush of Forest, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Quakenbush and Mary Jane Quakenbush (Clark); her siblings, Mildred Shuck, Richard Quakenbush (Shirley), Betty Bingman (Marvin), William Quakenbush, Eleanor Martin (Eugene) and Barbara Hendershot; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Rubush.
She is survived by: her husband James Rubush; her children, William F. Rubush, Sharon (Sam) and Marilyn Leisure (Howard); her brother-in-law Rex Hendershot; her grandchildren, Scott Rubush of Orlando, FL, Joe Mitchell, Danielle (Chris) and Stephanie (Chris); her stepgrandchildren, Shelly Cunningham (Tom) and Brian (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Kelsey Mitchell, Ava Beard, Tanner Beard, Brody Bronstrup and Camden Bronstrup; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kyrsten Teltoe (Wade), Bryce Cunningham, Ashley Cunningham, Hannah Crail and Emma Crail. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen's memory to the National Kidney Foundation.
