He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Dukes and Sara "Billie" Dukes (Cobb); his former wife Vicki Dukes (Johns); his mother-in-law Jean Johns; and his brother-in-law Joey Johns.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Dukes; his daughters, Jolie Jenkins (Dennie) and Sallie Diers (Clint); his grandchildren, Devin Jenkins (Kassie), Gabbi Jenkins, Cole Diers, Evan Diers and Zoe Diers; his great grandchildren, Wrenley Jenkins and Saylor Jenkins; his daughters, Shannon Walther (Claude) and Stacey Walther; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Lander (Brayden), Koryn Smedley, Jack Crosby and Kate Crosby; his siblings, Donna Cecil (Jimmy), Carolyn Grant (Jack) and Steve Dukes (Janet); and his father-in-law Joe Johns.
