She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerhard Sommer; her sister Erna Schneider; her children, Richard Sommer (Julia) and Elisabeth Sommer; her grandchildren, Gary Sommer (Noor), Tiffany Hadley (Jon) and Kelsey Cichorz; her great grandchildren, Amelia Hadley, Abigail Hadley and Mivy Johnson; her friend Kathy Limyansky; her parents, Carol and Ed; and also Noreen. She was also cherished by many cousins and extended family.
