He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans Fowler and Christine Fowler (Antle); and his sister-in-law June Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Annette Fowler (Andres); his children, Adam Von Dwingelo (Juanita) and Lauren Fowler (Chris Armstrong); his grandchildren, Aiden McKinney, Kai Von Dwingelo and Viviann Armstrong; and his siblings, David Fowler (Lynn), Robert Fowler and Cheryl Schaefer (Bob).
