Merle Lee Wernert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merle Lee Wernert of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle Lee Wernert to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wernert and Viola Wernert (Davis); and his siblings, Delores Wernert, Geneva Jones, Lawrence Wernert, Larry Wernert and Dwight Wernert.
He is survived by: his wife Licia Wernert (Albanese); his daughter Kelly Suttles; his brothers, Melvin Wernert and Mark Wernert (Gail); his granddaughter Dakota Hangartner (Erich); and his great grandchildren, Elin and Quinn Hangartner.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peters Lutheran Church (655 St Peters Church Rd SE, Corydon, IN 47112).
