It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Peay of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Peay (Striegel); his parents, Raymond Peay and Gertrude Peay (Best); and his siblings, Raymond "Joe", Virgil, Elvin, Carl, Paul "Gene", Chuck Peay, Eleanor Rosenberger and Mary Patricia Peay.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Brinkworth (Brian), Mark Peay (Christina) and Rebecca Millea (Thomas); his grandchildren, Megan Vissing (Jake), Kaitlin Ainsworth (Mike), Amanda Gosman (Sam), Austin Peay (Anna) and Addison Millea; his great grandchildren, Ella, Palmer Vissing, Peayton, Preston Ainsworth, Katie and Jack Peay; and his daughter Krista.
