With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet L. Burres of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard and Dorothy Young (Black); her husband Tom Burres; and her sister Shirley Harper. She is survived by: her children, Bryan Condra (Kelly), Julie Condra (Greta) and Kevin Burres (Mark); her grandchildren, Samantha Condra and Matthew Condra (Ally); her sister-in-law Anna Condra; and her pet Daisy. She is also survived by animals, especially her dogs.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Floyd County Animal Rescue League.
