He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duer and Lusada Duer; and his sister Jean Tichenor (Duer). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann McCune; his son Paul Duer (Carrie McClannen Duer); and his grandsons, Alex David Duer and Lucas William Duer.
