With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy A. Holloway Martin of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy A. Holloway Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Steven Martin; her grandson Christopher Martin; and her parents, Carl Holloway and Jessie Holloway. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Martin (Farris Rice), Julie Saylor (Ritchie), Terry Martin, David Martin (Kathy), Danny Martin and Michael Martin (Lisa); her siblings, John Holloway (Esther), Wayne Holloway, Lila Fetters (Larry) and Mary Holloway; and her sister-in-law Janet Holloway. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that contributions in Dorothy's memory be made to Floyd County Animal Shelter or SouthernCare Hospice.
