She is survived by: her children, Dr. H. Fred Preuss Jr. (Janice), Laura Jean Shaffer (Kirk) and Paula Ann Zurschmiede (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Lauren Ferro (Nick), Michele Henderson (Jason), Steven Shaffer (Kiana), Dr. Anne Carole Preuss, Jake Zurschmiede and Will Zurschmiede. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
